This training provides licensed professionals with a scope of practice that allows them to practice touch therapy to take in all the deep learning that would be available to them on a Self-Care Training AND learn how to apply the Anterior portion of the bodywork to others.

All the same content one would learn on Self Care - anatomy, physiology, the history and lineage, understaning major systems and tension patterns within the body, supportive modalities  and Self Care massage - are covered.  Additionally, how to work with the front body is learned in depth during the in-person portion of this training.

Prerequisites:

Licensure or Certification in touch-based therapies (e.g. massage therapist, acupuncturist, chiropractor, nurse, etc)

Tuition:

$975USD

$300 deposit due upon registration, balance due August 15, 2021.

I am a nurse practitioner with over 40 years of experience taking care of the adult population. Since 1997 I learned from my mentor Rosita Arvigo how valuable “self care” is as part of a healing practice. Since then I have used the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy® in my practice of holistic therapies in New York.  I am a certified practitioner as well as an advanced teacher teaching all of the advanced classes.
