Learn the basics of the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy®.
Join Paige Waggoner Clark, LMT for a weekend immersion at The Farm in Summertown Tennessee. We will explore the healing traditions passed down to Dr. Rosita Arvigo via Maya shaman, Don Elijio Panti.
In this deep dive, we learn about the history of the practice, Mayan plant medicine, practices to maintain homeostasis in the body, and ways to care for ones spiritual-emotional health. You will leave the weekend with a deeper connection to yourself, community, and a new perspective on self-care.

-Rainforest Remedies: Intro to herbs, spiritual bathing, and ancestral wisdom

Open to women, men, two-spirit and other identifying.

Prerequisite
There are no requirements for this entry level course. For practitioners, the Self-Care Workshop is the first level of training with the Arvigo® Institute and is a prerequisite for Professional Care Training.

Paige Waggoner Clark LMT, has been a practicing massage therapist for 24 years, and an advanced Arvigo®️ practitioner for 7 years. With a focus on traditional bodywork practices and the childbearing year, Paige brings her knowledge as a homebirth midwife, herbalist and yoga teacher to all of her work. She currently resides in Kentucky, USA, where she leads holistic equine and sound healing experiences.
Tithing
10% of the total cost of every for class is tithing. This tithing is split three ways. A third goes to the Itzamna Society - Don Elijio's descendants who protect the sacred forest at the Elijio Panti National Park in Belize. A third goes to Walther Cholotio, a Tz'utujil Maya Fire and Daykeeper in Guatemala. The final third goes to supporting indigenous healers and/or environmental care projects on the land trainings are held. You can learn more at our Giving Back page.
