About the Event

This 7 day training is a combination of both Self Care (Level 1) and Professional Care Training (Level 2), designed for the bodyworker who wishes to deepen their understanding of this work and offer whole body treatments to clients.  In addition to addressing the anatomy and physiology of the abdomen and structural alignment of the hips and sacrum, herbal and nutritional support will also be explored.  

Licensing is not required to work in New Zealand. If you are not currently a bodyworker but feel strongly called to this work please contact samar@moon-yoga.com to have a conversation.   

Successful completion of Practitioner training allows the participant to move on to Certification and/or Pregnancy & Postpartum Care Training.  

Cost

Cost: $2500 NZD, includes accommodation and meals.  10 spots maximum.

Dates and Location

Friday March 3rd to Friday March 10th 2023

Our training will take place at the stunning, unique and private Sky River Sanctuary right off of Opoutere Beach in the Coromandel region. We will living amongst wild beauty, with frequent opportunity to be outdoors, swim and live ceremonially.

Arrival from 4 pm on March 3rd.  Departure from 2 pm on March 10th.

We support with organizing carpooling from Auckland if possible.

Tithing

10% of the total cost of every for class is tithing. This tithing is split three ways.  A third goes to the Itzamna Society - Don Elijio's descendants who protect the sacred forest at the Elijio Panti National Park in Belize.  A third goes to  Walter Cholotio, a Tz'utujil Maya Fire and Daykeeper in Guatemala. The final third goes to supporting indigenous healers and/or environmental care projects on the land trainings are held. You can learn more at our Giving Back page.
