Pregnancy Care Training

This 5.5-day advanced course is designed for practitioners to immerse themselves in theory, hands-on skill building, and traditional approaches to work more effectively with clients from pre-conception to postpartum. This workshop builds on the pregnancy applications addressed in Professional Care Training and is profoundly support to those in the birth work world.  

Completion of Professional Care Training is a prerequisite for this course.

Our training is non-residential, taking place in a beautiful adobe home set against the Taos Mountains in Arroyo Seco. This property has many magical corners including the kiva fireplace, stone labyrinth and communities of Pine and Sagebrush.   This training is priced lower than usual to account for what may be spent by a participant on accomodation.  There are many beautiful airbnbs, inns and special places to stay in the area.   Exact address will be provided upon registration to assist the building of your journey.      Students are encouraged to explore the area for lunch and dinner or bring their own packed meals.  Nourishing snacks will be available at all times. 

This class will be taught by Lisa Kelly. 

Lisa Kelly is a licensed massage therapist of thirty two years, and an Arvigo® therapist, birth doula and midwives' assistant.  Lisa has been teaching for over two decades, presenting at the Nova Southeastern University School of Osteopathic Medicine and the Arvigo® biennial conference.  She has offered, observed and guided thousands of in-person Arvigo®  sessions in her full time pregnancy and preconception practice - Red Tent Healing Arts - over the past fifteen years.   She teaches with gentle and practical soulfulness, dedicated to supporting students to embody these teachings as their own.

Cost: $1500 USD 

As always, a percentage of profits will go to Dr. Rosita Arvigo, projects that uplift Maya and to our friends at Taos Pueblo as a way of saying thank you for being able to be in prayer and learning on this sacred land.
